Rules, Procedures and routines are important!
Rules help keep our classroom happy and safe.
Our classroom rules:
I believe every child should have a positive learning environment to achieve his or her full potential. Classroom rules, procedures and routines are the foundation of a positive learning environment. These three components help students feel comfortable and secure so they can learn. I try to motivate my students to follow rules and procedures with positive reinforcement. I want my students to feel safe and loved. To help the positivity in our classroom, we will learn all about being "bucket fillers" NOT "bucket dippers" in our class. Bucket fillers use kind words and kind actions. They share, help others, follow rules and directions and give genuine compliments.
DISCIPLINE POLICY
Every student will start each day with their discipline card on green. When students choose not to follow classroom rules this is the procedure:
Our classroom rules:
- Follow directions the first time.
- Be on task.
- Keep Your Hands Feet and Other Objects To Yourself.

- Non-verbal warning
- Verbal warning
- Flip their card from green to yellow.
- Flip their card from yellow to orange and removal from situation (i.e. desk or table) and partial missed recess.
- Flip their card form orange to red.
- Removal to office and call home.
